Jadeite Jade marquise shaped loose
stones, both very light green with
great translucency and luster.
They are sometimes termed as water jade
with such a transparent quality resembling
clear water attributes.
Hard to find this type of raw material,
so they are often a result of taking an
older long jade bead and cutting down the
middle to remake into two marquise
pieces, thereby achieving matching
pair of desirable pieces.
They are similar in size and
quality and could be used for making
a pair of earrings or cuff-links or simply
used for individual rings or pendants.
