    Description

    AMC Other.
    1967 AMC Marlin.
Only2545 Marlins were built in 1967.
The 67is built on the Ambassador frame and shares many parts with the 67 Ambassador.
It doesn't share a lot of parts with the 65and 66 Marlins.
This Marlin is a 290 2bbl column shift automatic, power steering, power brakes and an AM radio.
    Blue cloth interior.
The Paint Codes are 31A and 33A for Strato(lighter) and Royal Blue (darker).
The odometer has 64,009 miles, but, I think the speedometer cable is broken, so the exact mileage is not known.
64,009 is what is on the title when I bought the car 4/27/88.
I never used the car as a driver as it was going to be a restoration project for me.
It has been in inside storage ever since.
By the stickers on the trunk and the windshield, the car was originally sold in Idaho and then spent some time in Wyoming.
I don't think it was driven much in Minnesota as it looks to have very little rust.
There are some dents and creases in the body.
The engine turns over and sputters on starting fluid, but it would not run.
While I was trying to get it started it appeared that the starter failed as turning the key got only a clunk and the jumper cables got hot.
I would assume that the car will need a total rebuild of all mechanical systems.
The rear brakes were also stuck, but, I was able to remove the rear drums.
The drums come with the car, just not on the car.
So the car will roll and it can be lined up at the opening to the storage building, so just back up a trailer and winch it up.
I'm selling this car because I have too many AMC projects.
I'm not going to get to them all and it's time to pass this Marlin on to someone that will restore it.  0 Deposit is due within 48 hours.
